Dear Traveler,
Hola! Happy Indigenous People’s Day! As both a monastic practioner of indigenous arts & Trauma Informed Humanist clergy; it is a blessed privilege to rock with my sisters and brothers on a holiday wrested from a celebration of genocide, slavery, ignored ecological grief, and enlightment values!
Quite frankly- we as HUMAN BEINGS are all children of MamĆ” Gaia! On the other hand; some of those children have gleefully engaged in the systematic rape and exploitation of our MOTHER; and her reverant children.
For 500 years; the animistic stewards of our home and throne have tasted the shackling of confused relatives who worship the the double headed dragon of the market and Mt.Olympus.
For 500 years; our mother’s, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters have been fed to an altar of cogs and bone for the pleasure and convenience of a confused, entitled populace. What’s worse is that these economic instruments,which built the slave ships while burning down long houses and forests alike, have seduced some of our own and teaching them to be our overseers. Our own brothers and sisters whip us with both the Slave Bible and the dollar bill.
WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
The systemic illness of our socio-ecological has metastasized; and we CHOOSE to excise this cancer. We CHOOSE, as HUMAN BEINGS more in touch with 14 billion plus years of SPACETIME, to DECOLONIZE and RESIST the collective confusion of hungry ghosts haunting the halls of our liberty long due!
Our Mothers, sisters, and daughters are in the midst of restoring equilibrium, and as one anointed in the traditions of my animistic clans and culture, I choose to collaborate with them in a sacred bid for the liberation of MAMĆ GAIA!
I say unto you all-The machined rape of our MOTHER is AT AN END.
In parting ways upon this sojourn; I leave with you a passage from the “The Dao De Jing”
